This privacy policy explains the privacy practices of the National Setting of the Living Waters Fellowship Black Creek (“LWF”) and how LWF treats your information.

This policy only applies to information we collect from visitors to our website, livingwatersfellowship.ca This policy does not apply to information collected by LWF offline or through any other means, or from any third party. Please read this privacy policy carefully. You acknowledge that it is part of our terms and conditions, and by clicking “I agree” to those terms and conditions you agree to be bound and to abide by it. LWF collects the personal information that you make available to LWF, including first and last name, email address, mobile phone number, Facebook URL, Twitter URL, profile headline, user name, passwords, survey responses, photos, and cookie data. We also collect some information automatically about your computer hardware and software, which can include your IP address, browser type, domain names, access times and dates, referring website addresses, cookies, flash cookies, web beacons, and log file information. The information that we automatically collect does not by itself identify a specific individual and is statistical data typically aggregated with other data to help us improve our website. LWF collects your information when you provide consent and for purposes that are required by law. LWF will share information that it has collected when required by law or court order.

LWF uses your information to present our website and its contents to you; to communicate with you via newsletters to which you subscribe; to fulfill contracts, in particular, facilitating and processing transactions; and where it is necessary to fulfill LWF’s legitimate interests, which include operating our website; providing information and services described on our website; verifying your identity; determining how to improve our website; and responding to your questions and comments.

LWF retains your personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services to you and to comply with legal obligations. If you no longer want LWF to use your personal information you can request that LWF delete your personal information by contacting [email protected]; however, LWF will retain information as is necessary for LWF’s legitimate ministry interests. LWF reserves the right to change our website and this privacy policy, at our discretion. When any change is made, a revised version will be posted here and will be effective as of the revised date.

Some functions on our website are managed by third parties, which have their own data privacy policies. These functions include, but may not be limited to, donations and comment functions.

Please notify LWF if you believe that any of your intellectual property rights have been infringed. SMS POLICY AND TERMS OF SERVICE

This policy applies only to SMS messaging from ten-digit long code (10DLC) phone numbers (“SMS”) registered to Common Services Corporation of the Living Waters Fellowship Black Creek.

How LWF uses SMS Messaging

LWF uses SMS messaging for employees to communicate with one another and with external relationship partners when they give consent. No mobile opt-in or text message consent will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. SMS is not used for soliciting donations, sending automated notices or reminders, or for promotional purposes. Information obtained via SMS is not collected or used for any purpose other than the communication for which the SMS was sent and to maintain consent records.

Terms of Service

All recipients of SMS must consent to receive SMS messages. A recipient gives consent when they send an SMS. When a recipient sends an SMS, they receive an SMS that states the following: Thank you for opting into SMS messaging from Living Waters Fellowship Black Creek National Ministries. Messaging frequency and rates may vary. To opt out, text STOP. For assistance, text HELP.

When a recipient texts HELP, they receive an SMS that states the following: For help, visit the Living Waters Fellowship Black Creek at livingwatersfellowship.ca/privacy-policy or call 778-764-0477.

Recipients may revoke consent and opt out of receiving future messages by texting STOP. When a recipient texts STOP, they receive an SMS that states the following: You have opted out of SMS messaging from Living Waters Fellowship Black Creek. No additional text messages will be sent. To opt back in, send an SMS.

External relationship partner recipients who opt into SMS can expect to receive SMS messages that directly respond to their inquiries and non-automated messages about matters of mutual interest. Employees who opt into SMS can use SMS to communicate directly with other employees about work matters and can expect to receive SMS communications about work matters.
